Karen's hot redheaded friend from work was there. We have a whole sordid history but get along fine. I noticed her tiny hood and asked if she could even put it on. Apparently, unlike a normal hood which offers emergency protection from the rain, this one is just for emergency cuteness.

After the party I got a call from my friend Lisa who was showing up nearby at passerby with an entourage of guys she was entertaining. We haven't hung out for a while so we kept talking after everyone left and she ended up sleeping over because she lives way out in brooklyn. My house seems to turn into a hotel most weekends. We went for brunch the next day and I suggested a cool neighborhood french place in soho that I used to take girls on dates to in high school. I always see famous people there. So we sit down and she's like, "auhh no famous people." But I immediately point to my right and go, "oh is Jordan Catalano's girlfriend not a big deal." Then obligitory girl-excitement insued. I imagine girls unanimously freak out when they see Clare Danes. I wasn't into teenage dramas when I was a teenager but she was beautiful. Then Lisa and I got to talking about celebs she's shot with on photoshoots and I pumped her for Terry Richardson stories which are fascinating.
