CHICAGO PART TWO

The intonation festival was dusty but not particularly lusty. Chicago apparently has that quirky midwestern humor, "Century Lumber 'We're Lumber One!'" There were a lot of bands for people who like modern indie rock (eeeaauuuhhhh!@#, excuse me I just vomited up a death cab for cutie CD...thats funny they usually come out the other end) and Les Savy Fav for those with sophisticated taste...like passing both the grey poupon and the tasters choice while lounging on a Craftmatic II. The difference was palpable: half asleep kids standing around smoking during other bands vs. a large half naked man with a trunk full of costume changes who walked onto stage, screamed "Hey Ladies, who likes a man with some money!!!" and blew the sky off the place. At one point he got everyone in the whole festival to crouch down and people obeyed like trained bears. Plus a napoleon dynamite ringer jumped on stage and sang for a while.
If you're wondering why there is not a photo of me standing on teh shit fountain with my pants pulled down, I was in mid squat attempting to do so but a artsy lady who perhaps made it came out and yelled at me.
