BROOKLYN AND FIRES

Ryan came over friday before we went out to union pool. I took a cute Oprah magazine photo of her and she emailed it to her mom and sister trying to pass it off as a cute picture of her cat. But they were like, you're just sending this because you think you look good ryan. So she was like, "damn," and, anyway, wanted more cute pictures taken. Then we hung out on the roof to smoke and I highly impressed her with my dorky special effects tricks.
On the way back to meet up with a friend in manhattan I ran into this crazy fire on first avenue right near my house. No one seemed to be seriously hurt so I took pictures. I only had two color polaroids left and one ended up being beautiful with siren lights streaming across a big red fire truck with a #5 right out of William Carlos Williams and that famous Demuth painting. But I put them up on top of a phone booth to dry and someone must have seen me do it and stole them. I'm still whimpering about that. I only had B&W3000 film left which I had never tried before and kept overexposing. But I got the hang of it by the last picture.

Yeah he does. I've seen their truck a lot because they grocery shop up the street.
