CUTE
I just called my friend and whispered on the telephone about this so they wouldn't hear and I feel like I'm whispering on the keyboard too. So shhhhhh. We have a high school class in our lab today. They're on a field trip. This cool mountain man professor from Montana who works with us is teaching them about the life cycle of human pathogens. He showed them neat colorful science do-dads that we use for official science business. The kids are all quiet and shy. I wish I had a camera. I keep poking my head above my desk to spy on them. A girl who reminds me of Rizzo from Grease keeps yawning. Another girl has a bag with tons of sparkly silver giant sequins on it. There's a boy who looks like he hasn't gone through puberty and could pass for twelve. They must be freshman. No wonder people become teachers. They're so cute.

Yes! That's exactly why we become teachers...the best part of a day in class is observing. Wouldn't we all give anything for a fly-on-the-wall perspective of ourselves in school? No...ew...ewewewew...nevermind.
