ANCIENT STUFF ONE

I've had so much work and obligations crammed up my ass this week that no pictures are being taken. My parents sold my childhood house so I had to go over all my old stuff. I didn't realize I had hundreds of rolls of film. Some of it's not totally bad so I'll post a few that are already scanned with more recent outtakes.

to begin, this is not something that you need to post-and b/c you’re modest you most likely won’t, which is good and i’m not trying to blow sunshine up your ass, i just want you to know that what you do is appreciated.
as someone who doesn’t know much about photography, except for what she likes and dislikes, something about your pictures is unique and always interesting. also, i don’t normally post on websites, and i just want you to know that i completely love, love, love your photos-each new post makes me happy. i also really love it when you write on this site, which is seldom, however, it’s always a treat when you do.*
-photo #3=darling little man-i think this is you. (i love it when little boys have an old manish sort of air about them)
-pictures of the ryan in the white dress are so good-she’s interesting and she draws you in
-photo #16 of you, gorgeous. as a little boy you’re old manish; as a grown man, you’re boyish.
-#17- ari: i love the lighting and he seems wonderful
-#18-beautiful colors and interesting perspective
-#19-love the colors
-#24-nashville girl=fun and adorable
also, your previous entry about the cute kids was, well, cute.
so really, what i want to say, is that i hope you keep it up. and thank you.
* so yeah, at work i often check your site to see if you posted anything new and a while back you posted something about an exgirlfriend and divorice and death. it really struck me and when i finally went back to comment it was gone. but yeah, your writing is as good as your photos.

The fire festival is in Berga, a small catalan village in the Pyrenees. I'm not exactly sure but I think they were celebrating kicking the shit out of the moors and jews a long time ago. The landscape pictures are San Sebastian (donastia) and near Bayonne in southern france.
