SUNDAY

I'm trying to be something I've never worried about my entire life: healthy. My shrink has the wild idea that drinking 8 six packs of beer a week has something to do with my feeling unhealthy. "Ha!" I told her. What are you a doctor? Oh yeah. Really though, what the fuck does anyone do in new york if not get wasted. There's sort of nothing else to do here. Work, eat, smoke, drink, fuck/tv, smoke/eat, sleep...repeat 250x then go on vacation. So I've decided drink but drink less since I don't have any real reason to be that wasted. I stopped smoking all together too and feel terrible. This weekend was a good litmus test for the new poorly enbriated me. My cousin flew into town on friday and I successfully avoided wastedness for the whole weekend. We went out Sunday like the old days and I laughed and smiled a lot. Mau and Arnau from trippy Les Aus were playing in tribeca. They were touring with Ted Leo who I know nothing about except that he sells out everything. I just wanted to buy a ticket and instead alex had to pull strings. Ryan says Ted Leo is great but I saw him at a fancy stereogum party in austin and I don't really remember it. It takes me longer than other people to realize music is good. He got heckeled like crazy and wouldn't just shut up with that weird haircut of his and just play a song.

We went to sway where they were policing the door. Everyone except me had a cigarette as we waited for friends and tried to decide if we should go through the trouble of figuring out what name to drop to get us in. Chloe walked out with a big sexy blonde hairdo and lit up a cigarette followed by the dude who won the first season of project runway according to borko. Celebrities imply the party must be good even though I'm sure there's no correlation like that at all. We had tons of fun though.

ARI WINS

This photo makes me dizzy. Ari refinished the floor of his house via home depot. Now that he's happier, he's been fixing up his apartment, shopping for new clothes and throwing out old crap. He also won our office basketball pool this week. He's now 2 for 3. Which would be a feat if he didn't pick the teams by flipping a coin and/or going with the team with the name he liked better. I didn't enter because I'm apparently the only person who couldn't give a fucking shit about basketball.

Project Runway

I seem to be the only person with cable because every girl and gay guy I know have invited themselves over to my house to watch project runway tonight. In the beginning it was boring but now I like it. Of course, only because there are hot models in it. I mean I really don't pay any attention to Santino, Daniel (who's clearly going to win), Michael Kors, Nina Garcia and especially not Tim Gunn and his hilarious completion of every episode with "Diana...It has been an absolute joy to know you and work with you, I'm really going to miss you...now go upstairs and clean out your workspace."

HOTEL PARTY

We had a party in a hotel room in the middle of a blizzard and amazingly almost too many people showed up. Including my cousin who just got back from brazil and chatted it up with Ari. He gets all proud of himself and cocky speaking in his own language. I like his english better: "No bitch! I am the batman guy, and you are my kickside robin." I didn't take photos so these are all Ari's.
